ABC PA Announces 2016 Statewide Endorsements

Today, the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Pennsylvania announced their endorsements for the statewide row offices of Attorney General, Treasurer, and Auditor General. The merit shop construction trade association endorsed Republican State Senator John Rafferty for the position of Attorney General, Republican Otto Voit for Treasurer, and incumbent Democrat Eugene DePasquale for Auditor General. As part of an ongoing effort to promote workforce development and career readiness programs, Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry Secretary Kathy Manderino toured ABC’s Keystone Center for Construction Careers in Manheim on March 10, 2016. The Center, which is the headquarters for the Keystone Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors, recently underwent a $5.2 million renovation to expand educational programs and incorporate state-of-the-art learning technologies. Pursuing a Career in Construction
(MANHEIM, Pa.) The Merit Shop Training and Research Center invites applications for its Merit Shop Construction Scholarships, dedicated to assist individuals seeking to further their education in careers in construction. An average of eight scholarships is awarded each year with Merit Shop Construction scholars receiving up to $4,000.00.
