ABC Apprentices Earn National Recognition

(MANHEIM, Pa.) The Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC Keystone) is proud to announce that six of their high-achieving apprentices competed at the National Craft Championships held on March 2 and 3.

ABC Keystone Reacts to 2016-2017 Budget Address

(MANHEIM, Pa.) On February 9, 2016, Governor Tom Wolf outlined his proposal for the 2016-2017 Commonwealth budget, detailing his priorities for spending and revenue for the coming year. With a strong focus on workforce growth and public education, the budget proposal mirrors many policies that were suggested in last year’s budget address. The $33.2 billion proposal also suggests a broad portfolio of tax increases from personal income tax (PIT) to a severance tax on the Marcellus Shale natural gas industry.

The Merit Shop Training and Research Center invites applications for its Merit Shop Construction Scholarships, dedicated to assist individuals seeking to further their education in careers in construction. An average of eight scholarships is awarded each year with Merit Shop Construction scholars receiving up to $4,000.00.

Local Craft Champions Recognized by ABC

(MANHEIM, Pa.) The Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) - On Saturday, September 26, 2015, ABC apprentices showed off their skills during the annual Craft Competition.
