Funky Monkeys In My Building: Biological Indoor Contamination
FRIDAY, MAY 5, 2017 (7:30 AM - 11:30 AM)
Many construction managers and supervisors are faced with indoor environmental quality concerns during and after construction activities in adjacent occupied spaces and subsequent to completion of new construction and occupancy. Odor concerns, health complaints, and ventilation issues often arise during
This seminar will address common (and uncommon) potential indoor environmental contaminants such as fungal and bacterial impacts, off-gassing from new construction materials, construction dust accumulation, etc. Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) and Building Related Illness (BRI) will be defined, as well as the difference between a health hazard and a nuisance issue.
Benefits of Attending:
Preferred registration date: April 28, 2017
