This course is tailored for those who are new to construction. You’ll develop your blueprint reading skills through consistent practice and real-world application. By engaging in practical activities, class exercises, and homework assignments, you’ll build confidence and gain valuable experience in the field.

• Gain hands-on experience with blueprints—no prior knowledge needed.
• Learn symbols, abbreviations, and line types for reading construction documents.
• Master dimensioning, area, and volume calculations from blueprints.
• Understand architectural and engineering scales.

Note: Participants should bring a scientific calculator.

Instructor:
Ed Fisher is a Project Manager and Vice President at Light-Heigel and Associates, a firm specializing in Civil Engineering and Surveying. With over 30 years in the engineering and construction industry, Ed offers a wealth of practical experience and insights. In his classes, he focuses on enhancing participants’ problem-solving skills and boosting their confidence, ensuring they can effectively apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class start date are non-refundable. Substitutions are allowed.
