But it is an important slice of a large pie. You likely have many safety processes in place that are designed to achieve desired results – injury prevention\, loss reduction\, and regulatory compliance. DESCRIPTION:Course Dates:\nNovember 3 & 4\, 2027 | 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (each session) \nLocation: Live\, Online Virtual Course (The link will be provided after registration) \n\nDescription: \nThis two-part online course—developed by the certified instructors at UChapter2—is ideal for entry-level architectural or engineering designers\, apprentices\, tradespersons\, project coordinators\, estimators\, specialty sales reps\, or anyone in career transition looking for a practical refresher. \nWhether you’re on the jobsite or in the office\, it’s a solid first step toward better project collaboration. \nDesigned to quickly build confidence\, this course covers the fundamentals of how to read and understand construction documents. From identifying title block information to reviewing floor plans\, elevations\, and combing through specification sections\, participants will learn how to navigate a full set of drawings and interpret material and construction requirements with clarity. \nWe will use Bluebeam software in the course delivery\, but this is not Bluebeam functionality training. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nIntroduction to Construction Documents\nUnderstanding Industry Document Standards\nDrawing Navigation\nThe Importance of Specialty Plans\n\n\nCourse Requirements (Technology & Participation) \nPlease ensure you meet the following requirements: \n\nPlease go to the Revu > About menu in the upper left corner of the Bluebeam interface. You’re required to have Version 2018 or newer for our Bluebeam courses. If this same windows say Unassigned at the top\, your IT department needs to assign you a license so you can login and use Bluebeam software. Make sure this is complete prior to class start time.\nAttendance via tablet or phone is not recommended. You should have a mouse with a scroll wheel when attending this class. In Bluebeam there are several right-click shortcuts\, and the wheel will help you zoom in/out on documents.\n2-screen computer set-up is recommended.
