Meet Amir Boutorabi! What role do you play in your organization? I am a Preconstruction Manager for Warfel Construction Company. I work closely with clients and design consultants to create conceptual/detailed estimates while analyzing market conditions and performing constructability reviews. It is the responsibility of a Preconstruction Manager to set up a project for success from the beginning and to ensure a seamless process from start to finish.

Meet David Brubaker, Surety Client Service Associate, McConkey Insurance & Benefits! How has your involvement in ABC Keystone provided you value in your professional life? Since I work on the insurance side of construction, I don’t typically get to see all the details that go into planning and estimating. ABC has provided a fantastic forum for discussion and networking that allows my peers and I to learn about the areas of construction we don’t see on an everyday basis. I feel that with each meeting, I gain knowledge and experience that I can use to better serve my clients.

Meet Kyle Lukoskie, CB Construction Services, Inc., Operations Coordinator! How has your involvement in ABC Keystone provided you value in your professional life? For several years, I have predominantly taken advantage of the vast educational opportunities offered by ABC Keystone. Of these, the Leadership Development Series and the Superintendent Training Series are among my favorites. Moreover, ABC Keystone also provides a viable opportunity to network with individuals and companies from all corners of the construction industry and related businesses.

Meet Katy Landis, Saxton & Stump Lawyers and Consultants! Tell us about the role you play in your organization: I am an associate attorney at Saxton & Stump Lawyers and Consultants, where my practice is (almost) exclusively dedicated to the construction industry. I routinely advise contractors and subcontractors on risk mitigation and general matters related to their operations, including reviewing and revising construction contracts. On occasion, risk mitigation turns into litigation, which I also handle for our clients. Although I started my legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in York County, and I’m no stranger to the courtroom, I strive to reach practical, real-world solutions—even in litigation. At the end of the day, the project must go on!

Meet Caitlin Sutjak, ADP!
What role do you play in your organization? I’m the Sales Account Manager for Central PA and for anywhere my clients/partners need me (even across the country). I focus on consulting with companies who are looking to streamline and integrate internal systems and software to cloud based solutions, which ultimately leads to more accurate and reliable data especially when it’s needed most. My goal is to help create a single sign on tech stack for the entire employee life cycle. While ADP is known for payroll, it is only 20% of what we can provide our clients.

Professionally, I enjoy meeting new people and listening and understanding my clients’ needs. I am able to sleep well at night knowing I offer them peace of mind through a state-of-the-art insurance program. Personally, my wife, Gabrielle, and son, Lincoln, drive me to give it my all every day.

Meet Rick Cirilo, Aerotek | What role do you play in your organization? I’m an Account Manager for Aerotek’s Construction Trades division. My role consists of partnering with general contractors and sub-contractors throughout Central PA to develop manpower strategies to help fill vacant positions for current and future projects. In addition, I consult with companies and share top trends we’re seeing in the construction industry.

Meet Carson Mowery, Junior Estimator, Meadow Valley Electric, Inc., and ABC Keystone YP Committee Member

What role do you play in your organization?

I’m a Junior Estimator with Meadow Valley Electric, Inc. in Ephrata. I started in this position almost two years ago after working in electrical distribution. I set up bid folders for the estimators and work on getting the power and lighting counts together in preparation for sending them out for pricing from our vendors. Once the counts are completed, I put the totals together in RFPs to our vendors. I contribute to the bid process by assisting the main estimator in measuring and determining the lengths of conduit and wire. My work is completed under the guidance and training of an experienced estimator. Read more…

As a Young Professional, how has your involvement with ABC Keystone helped you?
My involvement in the Young Professional Committee has been great during my time with ABC. I feel that anything that brings people together and discusses issues or experiences as a group is a very helpful experience, especially throughout this pandemic, where we’ve all been thrown into similar difficult situations. It is the feeling of community and comradery that I enjoy most about the Young Professionals Committee.
