In 1987, following 3 years of military service in the US Army, Deron Gue earned his GED from York Vo-Tech, and began an apprenticeship training program after which he attended college. With his BSE in hand, he began a 15-year journey working with middle and high school aged students in the classroom and in athletics. In 2016, Deron gained the opportunity to live out a childhood ambition when the FAA made “flying for a living” possible, thus, the formation of Liberty Belle Drone Imaging Services. Today, he flies for multiple clients, both in the public and private sectors. His newest venture is leading back to the classroom, this time, beginning a relationship with the ABC and Lancaster County CTC to help prepare UAS pilots for the 21st-century work force.
“I thoroughly enjoy the whole premise of the “Wake-up Call” meetings. They are early in the morning, so as not to break up or interrupt the day. The topics I have seen have all been relevant and worthwhile, the venues have been convenient to my location, and the times have been condensed to where I obtain great information but can still make it into my office by 9 am.”
– Tony Forlizzi, Sheet Metal Specialists, LLC
“I am glad to see the meetings become more localized; it will make it easier to attend and get to know the contractors better in our area.”
– Gregg Bogia, Bogia Engineering, Inc.
Preferred registration date: September 6. Substitutions are permitted.
