Your Students are Invited to Construction Wars!

Over the course of three days, 200 area middle school students from our 33-county footprint will be attending this spring’s Construction Wars, an interactive career exploration event that offers hands-on activities with the help of construction professionals and provides students with an understanding of the many possible career paths offered by the construction industry. During this Construction Wars event, students will have the educational opportunity to see our training facility, work with tools, understand safety requirements, and learn more about the skilled trades. Students will be building wood benches, testing electrical circuits, bending sheet metal to make their own tool boxes, and more. Educators will learn what the construction industry needs in its future workforce and how careers in skilled trades are a viable, well-paying alternative to college. View/Download the event flyer
