ABC Keystone’s Construction Wars is a FREE engaging, hands-on career exploration event tailored for middle school students in grades 7 and 8. Over the course of the day, participants engage in interactive activities guided by construction professionals. These activities include wiring electrical circuits, constructing wooden benches, laying brick, building PVC pipe projects, shaping sheet metal into toolboxes, as well as working with HVAC systems and heavy equipment.
The event’s goal is to introduce students to skilled trades and showcase construction careers as rewarding, well-paying alternatives to traditional college pathways.
