This seminar will provide a general understanding of construction drawings and specifications across the various design disciplines. We will review each design discipline document’s role and responsibilities and integration into a complete design document package.
Administrators, estimators, project engineers, support staff, accountants, attorneys, project managers, project assistants, those new to construction, career constructors interested in learning new information and those interested in a better understanding of the big picture of the construction process will benefit from this series!
Mark Broomell P.E., Providence Engineering Corp., Director of Food Facilities-with a degree from Penn State in Civil Engineering-Structural Option, has been with Providence Engineering Corporation since 2001. Mark has structural engineering experience in design and analysis of buildings for a variety of commercial and industrial facilities throughout the United States. Mark’s experience includes structural systems for multi-story manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings and office buildings utilizing structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast concrete, masonry, metal stud, and wood. Mark has designed many types of foundation systems including shallow spread footings, drilled shaft piers, grade beams, driven steel piles, and mat slabs. Mark’s experience also includes expertise in the design and detailing of cold storage and food processing facilities. Mark hold’s engineering licenses in 8 states.
