at ABC Keystone

Manheim, PA 17545
Seminar Overview:
This training will discuss the primary requirements of NFPA’s 2021 version of its 70E (arc flash) standard. In addition to live electrical work and arc flash safety, the program will discuss lockout/tagout and hazards of electrical energy.
There is no valid reason for which live electrical work is authorized. OSHA and NFPA 70E expect methods of control of hazardous equipment, including live electrical parts, to be locked and tagged out to implement safe work practices. Where OSHA and NFPA 70E permit live work, electrical shock and arc flash hazards must be evaluated, and special safeguards must be instituted. These safeguards include using appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE), barriers, and training.
