This course is designed for beginners looking to learn the basics of electrical used in the HVAC/R industry, and the course is also valuable for the intermediate level looking for a refresher and a challenge in reading, interpreting, and troubleshooting HVAC/R wiring schematics and diagrams.
Derek Robbins, ABC Keystone HVAC Instructor:
Derek joined the ABC Keystone Apprenticeship Program as an HVAC instructor in August 2021. Prior to joining ABC, Derek was an HVAC/R Instructor for Technology Learning Center and for Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School – both located in Massachusetts. Derek holds an EPA608 Universal Certification and has over 15 years’ experience in the HVAC/R industry. In his role at ABC, he will instruct students in HVAC/R installation, service, maintenance and troubleshooting of residential and commercial HVAC/R systems.
