Essentials of Leadership and Project Management

8:00 am – 11:00 am each day

Seminar Description:

Project management is an important skill set to ensure that the desired results meet the stakeholder’s expectations. A Project Manager has the responsibility of planning, procuring, and executing a project, making sure everything is on schedule and that everyone involved is working to their potential. Construction project managers control the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings and associated site work. They plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with owners, engineers, architects and material vendors. Project Managers need to understand the ways in which to lead and direct daily activities toward desired results and how to simplify the process.

Be the Project Manager that the company’s employees want to work with by simplifying your management style. Without effective project management, the best intentions do not guarantee a successful project. A skilled and well-trained project manager using the correct resources at the correct time will put your future projects on the path to achieving better results. Become able to identify and coordinate priority project tasks to better allow FLOW within your projects. These seven interactive training sessions are presented with clear success criteria to help PM’s manage the job from award of the contract to receipt of the final payment! Benefit from a larger scope of understanding of the construction process.

Class is limited to 20 people. Attendance, class participation, and completion of assignments are important. Each student will be expected to give a presentation as part of this course.

This course can be customized just for your company!
