When a crew is formed to tackle a particular job, one person is appointed the Leader. How many of your field personnel are ready for the next step but don’t have the skills to run a small crew of field employees? This course will equip your future “Face of the Field” with the critical skills needed to successfully communicate with and lead a crew of craftspeople!

The discussion between students and facilitator provided beneficial insight into different leadership styles and approaches to challenges.  The material provided a structured approach to leadership in construction. – Dylan Seyler, S & S Structures, Inc.

Benefitted me because I learned a lot: how to plan & schedule jobs, to plan things out so you can get your work done faster and make more profit, how to deal with other contractors on the job site and to set a good example on everything you do on the jobsite –  Ken Mowery, Paul Risk Construction

Note: you may be eligible for dual credentials upon completion. When submitting Form 200, indicate completion of the two module numbers that apply to Fundamentals of Crew Leadership – 46101-11 (from NCCER’s Contren Management Series) or the applicable module in a craft training program, such as Module 26413 from NCCER’s Electrical curriculum. Transcripts will be issued accordingly.
