The course will cover the proper selection of equipment, performing workplace hazard assessments, methods to address hazards, and review all the new requirements for compliance to the new standards. This training is designed to reduce injuries, product and structural damage, and mobile elevating work platform repairs while promoting an increase in safety awareness.

  • Supervisor Oversight – Focuses on improved supervisor understanding of the appropriate measures to take for improved oversight through education, awareness, and understanding the personal benefit of safe equipment operation.
  • ANSI/SAIA Standard Review – Emphasizes successful techniques to adhere to the safety measures to be taken to provide improved overall safe operation.

All Supervisors of Users/Operators of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms should attend.


Instructor:

Kevin Keith, Director of Safety Services, ABC Keystone, provides safety trainings and safety services for the Chapter’s members. Kevin is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He has been providing Health and Safety services since 1996. Kevin is an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer for the Mid-Atlantic OTI Education Center. He has aided with Workers’ Compensation, ergonomics, rehabilitation, fall protection system design and install, developed safety programs for automated systems, jobsite audits, PIT operator trainings, and an extensive list of trainings related to OSHA and safety during his career.
