Seminar Description:
Performing a Job Hazard Analysis is the first step in protecting workers. This not a complicated process but it does require some thought and can feel daunting if you have never done one previously. This webinar will help to alleviate some of the fears that you may have in taking on such a project.
We will discuss how to identify where to start, the methods you can use to assess the work tasks and then how to document your assessment. We will learn how to effectively use the hierarchy of controls and create safe work practices to ultimately protect your workers from injuries.
Presenter:
Kevin Keith, Director of Safety Services, ABC Keystone, provides safety trainings and safety services for the Chapter’s members. Kevin is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He has been providing Health and Safety services since 1996. Kevin is an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer for the Mid-Atlantic OTI Education Center. He has aided with Workers’ Compensation, ergonomics, rehabilitation, fall protection system design and install, developed safety programs for automated systems, jobsite audits, PIT operator trainings, and an extensive list of trainings related to OSHA and safety during his career.
