OSHA states that hazardous energy as energy sources including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, thermal, or other sources in machines and equipment can be hazardous to workers. During the servicing and maintenance of machines and equipment, the unexpected startup or release of stored energy can result in serious injury or death to workers.
This webinar will assist workers by educating them of the hazards associated with failure to follow the proper procedures, identify hazardous energy situations and the actions to be taken, and to provide the regulatory guidance of how to comply with OSHA’s regulations.
