Seminar Description:

Construction Industry Alliance
Learn more about CIASP at www.preventconstructionsuicide.com

Men in the construction and extraction industry have the highest rate of suicide among all occupational groups. Statistically, construction employees are at a higher risk. This is because men, who make up 91% of the construction workforce, are more likely to die by suicide than woman. In addition, the construction industry employs a large population of veterans, who have a 1.5 times greater risk of suicide as compared to non-veterans.

This is a public health crisis. ABC Keystone is committed to providing education in identifying risks among the workforce, creating a normalized culture for conversations about mental health and training helpers for individuals who are struggling.

Benefits of Attending:

  • Learn how you can help your workforce raise awareness about the importance of mental health
  • Normalize conversations around suicide and mental health through company culture
  • Gain tools and resources to help integrate suicide prevention into safety talks
