Exposures to falls in Construction has been a focus of both the employer and OSHA for a number of years. Fall protection systems and equipment have been designed to address many of the hazards that workers face on the jobsite. Most safety professionals have learned how to address the “common” fall hazards, but what about the more complicated scenarios?
Attending this forum will allow the participant to ask questions and to openly discuss the means to address the more complicated fall hazards that workers face on the job.
Participants in this forum will learn how to address both the common and uncommon exposures to fall hazards. Understanding how fall protection systems work and what is made available by manufacturers of the equipment will be reviewed so that persons attending will have a better understanding of the methods to be employed to protect workers exposed to falls.
Having a better understanding of equipment and what is required when installing an off the shelf system, will greatly assist in the protection of workers.
Company Owners, Safety Managers/Directors, Superintendents, Foreman, and any company official that has oversight of protecting workers from falls would benefit from attending this Safety Forum.
