Don’t miss the upcoming Suicide Prevention in Construction for Field Leaders class, 12/9/22 & 1/26/22 – register here
The National Institute of Health estimates that nearly one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness, and that only about half receive the help needed. With a suicide rate that is four times greater than the national average, the construction industry is facing a crisis. The Department of Labor recently released new guidance regarding Mental Health and the Family & Medical Leave Act. This seminar will help you navigate the law, provide insight into ADA accommodations, and broaden your awareness into the increased risks of suicide in construction and the need to train your workforce to deal with mental health issues on the jobsite.
