Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is now recognized as one of the most powerful indicators of success in any business and it is especially important in the construction industry. Becoming more aware of how EQ impacts performance, teamwork and engagement is the first step to becoming more emotionally intelligent.

Lisa Murray, Director of Learning and Development at Wohlsen Construction Company: Lisa Murray is the Director of Learning and Development at Wohlsen Construction Company. Lisa designs and executes Wohlsen’s corporate training program for all sevin locations on the east coast and serves as Wohlsen’s internal coach. She influences the culture at Wohlsen by helping leaders strengthen and fine tune their leadership skills and by providing interpersonal skills training for all team members, essential for creating engaged teams.
