Holiday Mixer crop

ABC Keystone is excited about hosting a food drive to help the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank to raise awareness and educate others about the need for hunger relief in our community. The Food Bank has been dedicated to ending hunger for more than 30 years. Serving 27 counties, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is the largest non-profit food distribution organization in central PA and distributes more than 48 million pounds of food and grocery products. That is the equivalent of 40 million meals!

A couple of ways YOU can have an impact on this food drive…

Please consider collecting food at your office location beginning on Tuesday, October 3, through Thursday, December 7. Food Bank donations boxes and posters will be available for your use at the ABC Keystone Office beginning on Wednesday, November 1. Or, think outside the box, have fun and be creative with your donation collection. You can create a “Can Castle” or “Package Meal Food Sculpture,” or possibly a theme for each day of the week. For instance, Monday is Macaroni and Cheese Day, Tuna Tuesdays, Wheaties Wednesday, etc. We just ask that you get the word out and help us make the Food Drive a success!

Capture photos of your collected donations and send them to Kristi at the Chapter office. We would like to post your hard work on social media for all to appreciate!

AND…
