This program increases your awareness of the inner workings of a healthcare facility helping you become a valuable member of the healthcare team. Many entities require this certification prior to bidding on a job. Online course must be completed prior to the classroom training.

This course is designed to give you the tools for passing the Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) Exam. Discover test taking tips, an overview of key topics, and sample questions identified in the CHC content outline (as listed in the CHC Candidate Handbook). Please note: The workshop fee does not include the CHC exam fee, nor does it register you for the exam. Participation in this program does not guarantee a passing score on the exam.

Designed for individuals directly involved in the construction1 renovation, and operation of health care facilities, this program identifies the infection prevention issues that every contractor, facility manager, architect, and engineer must address on the job.
While working in a health care environment, you need to understand your unique role and be prepared to implement processes to protect patients, staff, and visitors from hospital-acquired infections. Through lectures, case study reviews, problem-solving exercises, and group discussions, you will become a more valuable member of the health care construction team.
