Accounting Coordinator sought by local conservative construction trade association in Mount Joy area.

Job Summary:
This position is accountable for assisting the Controller in daily accounting operations and other financial areas of the company. These areas include managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, generating/posting journal entries, bank account and ledger reconciliations, month end close and preparing internal financial statements for Controller and CEO review and approval.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Daily cash receipts and deposits
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Journal entries (JE)
Month-end close and Adjusting JE’s
General Ledger Reconciliations
Intercompany Transactions & Reconciliations
Prepare Internal Financial Statements
Assist in Annual audit/review process

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
Experience with bookkeeping
Experience in non-profit accounting
Experience with inter-company transactions
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
Proficient use of QuickBooks
Detail oriented
Ability to meet deadlines
Good communication and organization skills
Ability to work independently with little supervision, under deadlines and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Office hours are M-F, 8 – 5; this position working hours are approximately 30 hours/week. Salary commensurate with experience. Consent for a background check and drug screen.
