Executive Administrative Assistant

Manheim/Mount Joy area:  Construction trade association seeking a full-time highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills to join its staff to provide full administrative assistance for the President/CEO, Officers and Board of Directors.

Job Summary:  This position is accountable for assisting the President/CEO with daily administrative duties and will complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments, composing and preparing correspondence, proofing for grammar and content for all print publications, and taking minutes at Board and Executive Committee meetings monthly.

Qualifications and Skills:  Successful candidate must have the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team, and under tight deadlines; have strong organizational skills; and possess the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.  Must be a team player with a strong work ethic, along with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to maintain member confidence by keeping information confidential is a prerequisite.  Also, candidate should have good decision-making and problem-solving skills, good judgment and be insightful, confident, discrete, reliable and flexible.

Successful candidate will possess a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows environment, along with intermediate level data entry skills.

Education and Experience:  The successful candidate will have an Associate degree or some college along with five to seven years administrative experience.  Candidate will have a mature, professional attitude and appearance.

Full-time.  Office hours are M-F, 8-5 mostly.  Consent for a background check and drug screen.
