Meet Brittanie Lewis!

What role do you play in your organization?
In my role I have a plethora of job responsibilities and mask as the jack of all trades. To name a few: I take care of claims from open to close for the fleet as well as workers’ compensation. I compile company-wide Lessons Learned monthly as well as weekly and monthly safety summaries. I develop materials for our safety meetings and trainings. In addition, at the beginning of this year, I became responsible for our Fleet, from new vehicles and gas cards to repainting and auctioning old vehicles.

Why do you wake up and go to work every day? 
I wake up and go to work every day because of my team. They are an amazing group, and I love that I get a chance to not only learn from them, but also to teach them new skills.

Where is your favorite place in the world?
My favorite places are Montreal and Walt Disney World – I love them both.

What words of advice do you have for fellow YPs?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions and advocate for yourself and for your career.

As a Young Professional, how has your involvement with ABC Keystone helped you?
I am involved with ABC because I love opportunities to learn and develop my professional and personal skills. ABC gives me the opportunity to meet new people, network, and gain new skills. I get to learn things about all the many facets of construction. ABC also offers a place for me to volunteer, which I’ve always enjoyed.
