This course will cover the dangers of confined spaces, how to evaluate them for hazards, and how to use permits for safe entry. You'll also gain hands-on experience with confined space equipment during a vault entry!

In this class, you will learn fall exposures, several fall protection options, restrictions on how & when some options can be used.

When workers need to enter an excavation (including trenches), a competent person is responsible for ensuring safety—and that’s you! Your role involves planning and managing buried utilities, soil classification, cave-in protection, safe access, air quality assessment, and more.
