FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Manheim, Pennsylvania, March 18—Associated Builders & Contractors, Keystone Chapter is pleased to announce that three Keystone Chapter member contractors have received Excellence in Construction® Awards during the ABC National Convention in San Antonio. The EIC awards are the construction industry’s leading national competition that honors general and specialty contractors for world-class, safe and innovative construction projects from across the Nation.

“ABC Keystone contractors continue to set the standard for safe, quality construction,” said ABC Keystone President-CEO, G. David Sload. “During a year of the combined difficulties of a lingering pandemic, supply chain delays and worker shortages, our members rose to the challenge to construct top-quality projects while adhering to budget and timing constraints. We are proud of the efforts of these contractors and their well-deserved, national recognition.”

The EIC awards honor every member of the construction team, including the contractor, owner, architect and engineer. The winning projects are judged on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation and safety.

A panel of industry experts served as the competition’s judges. This year’s judges included representatives from the Smithsonian Facilities Construction Division, Construction Management Association of America, Engineering News-Record, Design-Build Institute of America, University Research Institute and various construction-related firms nationwide.
