Planning for 2025 and Beyond

As we close in on the end of 2024 we need to begin planning for 2025 and beyond. 2024 brings us to the completion of our 2022-2024 strategic plan. While we don’t reinvent the wheel every three years, we do look to see what is working and what opportunities ly before us. The 2025 – 2027 plan was started with our Strategic planning session held on September 18th and 19th.

First and foremost, I want to thank the board members, committee chairs, members at large, and staff that participated. Your insights and ideas will ensure that we have a member driven plan that helps our members succeed and continue to make Keystone a member driven chapter. The following is a first blush of what is to come.

Our mission statement will continue to be, “ABC Keystone leads, champions, and serves the construction industry”. The following are the four pillars of the strategic plan:

  • Advocacy, providing unwavering representation for free enterprise and open competition.
  • Education and workforce development with an eye to emerging technologies and growing your employees.
  • Instilling a safety and wellness culture for you and your employees.
  • Continuing engaging business development opportunities throughout the entire Keystone footprint.

The group engaged in creating goals and strategies withing these four pillars. The next steps over the next few months will be for the committees to flesh out the strategies and create tactics for ensuring that the goals are met. Upon the committee’s work be completed, the framework will be presented to the board for approval. The 2025-2027 plan will be introduced in January at our all-committee kick-off by 2025 Chair Guy Kingree.

If you were not able to participate in September, you still have an opportunity to be part of the plan through our committees. Should you not be on a committee and wish to join in reach out to the chapter office and we will get you signed up. Always remember this is your association and your input has been and will continue to be crucial to the success of the Keystone chapter.
