Message from the Chair: Preparing for the Future

A Message from the ABC Keystone Chair of the Board

We are now in the month of June. It is our mid-way point for 2021, and I want to begin by recognizing and congratulating our dedicated Apprenticeship leaders and training staff for a championship year! Cindy DeWire (Director of Apprenticeship), her assistant Erin Hiles, and our instructors have done a great job making this an incredibly successful year – we thank you all for your hard work and dedication! Your outstanding efforts have allowed ABC Keystone to graduate the largest class in over 15 years! 108 apprentices from seven trades walked the stage on May 20, at the Clipper Magazine Stadium (home of the Lancaster Barnstormers)!

Celebrating the Graduating Apprenticeship Class of 2020!

The Keystone Chapter is #ABCMeritShopProud of our 2020 graduating class of apprentices! This year’s graduation event which had been scheduled for May was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to current social distancing and large gathering restrictions in place, our traditional venue and program is still not an option.

However, our team has found a creative way of celebrating this year’s class…

Congratulations to ABC Keystone’s 2020 Apprenticeship Graduates!

ABC Keystone Class of 2020

The ABC Keystone Chapter is proud to celebrate this year’s graduating class of apprentices. The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the necessary postponement of the in-person ceremony previously scheduled for this past May, but we look forward to celebrating these graduates in alternate ways this summer. Please watch our website, social media channels and our upcoming August Merit Shop Spokesman for graduate features celebrating the class of 2020. This class has worked diligently for this accomplishment, and we look forward to further recognizing their achievements!
