Project Development & Environmental Decisions | Construction 101 Series

November 5, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

$150.00 – $1,600.00

Manheim Office
135 Shellyland Road
Manheim, PA 17545

Description:
Land development is anything but straightforward. This session explores the critical early stages of construction projects, emphasizing how thoughtful planning and team assembly during due diligence can streamline your path to a successful build. You’ll learn how to anticipate challenges related to zoning, permitting, and environmental regulations, and how to manage the transition to long-term project ownership proactively. With increasing regulatory oversight, understanding these steps upfront can help reduce costs, minimize delays, and limit long-term liabilities, such as stormwater facility maintenance.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Define the key stages of project programming and due diligence.
  • Evaluate zoning and permitting considerations before development.
  • Identify how to select the right consultants and build a high-performing project team.
  • Understand the environmental responsibilities that extend beyond the construction phase.
  • Apply cost-saving strategies during the project handoff to owners or tenants.

Instructors:
Chris Venarchick, RLA
Len Bradley, RGS Associates, Inc.
