Description:
This session, led by experienced industry professionals, will provide an in-depth examination of Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) technologies and their impact on transforming the construction industry. Participants will explore Building Information Modeling (BIM), drones, laser scanning, virtual reality, and field management software—all critical tools that improve project coordination, efficiency, and accuracy.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Understand the role of Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) in modern construction.
• Learn how drones, laser scanning, and BIM models improve project planning and execution.
• Recognize the benefits of clash detection and BIM coordination for reducing errors.
• Explore virtual reality applications for design review and training.
• Identify the impact of VDC on facility management and post-construction operations.
