The Microsoft Project: Basics course provides a solid introduction to project management using Microsoft Project. Designed for beginners, this course covers the essentials of creating and organizing a project, including entering tasks, setting durations, and creating milestones and subtasks. Participants will learn to navigate the Project interface, use key views like Gantt Chart and Resource Sheet, and apply basic scheduling tools such as linking tasks, setting lead and lag time, and using the Baseline feature.

The course also explores formatting options, working with recurring tasks, using the Planning Wizard, and running reports. Additional skills include customizing the workspace, correcting errors, previewing and printing the project, and managing project details through the Page Setup and Project Information tools. By the end, learners will be able to plan, organize, and manage simple projects with confidence using Microsoft Project.

Must have Windows and mouse proficiency

The Microsoft Project Series is a structured training program designed to equip learners with the skills needed to effectively plan, manage, and track projects using Microsoft Project. Starting with the basics, the series guides users through creating and organizing projects, scheduling tasks, managing resources, and monitoring progress. As learners advance, they explore more complex features like linking tasks, setting baselines, using various project views, customizing reports, and optimizing project timelines. Whether you’re new to project management or looking to enhance your skills, this series provides the practical knowledge and hands-on experience needed to manage real-world projects efficiently and professionally.
