Build on the fundamentals of blueprint reading and take your skills to the next level. This hands-on course is designed for individuals who already have a basic understanding of construction blueprints and want to improve their ability to interpret plans with greater accuracy and confidence.

You’ll learn how to:

• Locate construction details and wall sections within blueprint sets.
• Verify dimensions and ensure drawing accuracy.
• Identify conflicts, discrepancies, and omissions in construction plans.
• Improve blueprint reading skills for estimating and material take-offs.
• Apply advanced blueprint reading techniques through hands-on exercises.

Please bring a scientific calculator to class.

Registration includes:

• Architectural and engineering scales
• Hands-on instruction
• All course materials

Note: Participants should bring the textbook from the Basic Blueprint Reading course, as it will be used throughout this class. If you do not have the textbook, one may be purchased for $150.

If you must cancel for any reason, please get in touch with us immediately. Cancellations received less than seven days after class start cannot be refunded; substitutions are permitted.
