STP: Improving Productivity & Managing Project Costs

Description:

  • Learn pre-construction processes, bid review, and key clauses.
  • Understand budget, goals, estimates, takeoffs, partners, schedules, and checklists.
  • Develop a cost management plan and bill of materials; maintain jobsite records.
  • Know equipment and labor costs and how to maximize productivity.

Superintendent Training Program (STP)
The program covers supervisory skills, including leadership, communication, and project management. It also includes training in contract administration, problem-solving, and risk management. All units are required for certification and can be completed in any order.

6 Session Series * Classes cycle continuously, join any time at series rate.

Instructor:

Sullivan Tim 2017

Tim Sullivanrecently retired, has been a part of the construction industry since 1979. Tim brings his 42 years of diverse project experience with him in Estimating and Project Management from Wohlsen Construction Company, Reynolds Construction, and construction. He is a graduate of Penn State’s Architectural Engineering Program with a degree in Construction Management.
