It’s That Time of Year, Again
When we hear the phrase, “It’s that time of year, again,” we think of a special date or holiday. At ABC, it means it is time to start a new year of apprenticeship classes. What will the 2020/2021 school year look like? The good news is we have learned a lot from having to finish the 2019/2020 year virtually due to COVID-19.
A Message from the President-CEO
Anyone that has been on a long drive with children, or remembers long drives as a child, is very familiar with the phrase “Are we there yet?” It brings back memories of impatience and seemed to make long drives even longer. As we have now completed a little over sixteen long weeks of COVID-19 restrictions, we keep wanting to know when we will get “there,” and when we will reach the next stage.
A Message from the President-CEO
Those that know me well are aware that I am a very positive person. If you ask me in the morning how I am doing, I always respond, “I’m living the dream!” I finally realized, after the last two months, that some dreams can be nightmares. But it is because of our members, the staff, and our leadership team that I have been able to remain positive during this recent COVID-19 dream (or nightmare) and take each day as a new challenge.
