March 2, 16, & 30, 2023 | 7:30 am – 4:00 pm each session. Effective Accident Prevention and Loss Control. Evaluate different forms of risk in unfamiliar work areas. Cultivate a problem-solving attitude that includes identifying probable consequences. Become a Safety Leader knowledgeable of OSHA standards, talking through potential risks, and clearly communicating team expectations. Build a culture of accountability and personal responsibility within your team. Examine potential risks that come with equipment, materials, water, manpower and aggressive scheduling. Minimize loss control from theft, fire, weather and security hazards. Create a crisis management plan for your team and worksite. Learn the importance of knowing insurance requirements on each job and the potential costs that come with accidents. | Class frequently sells out! All six units needed for STP certification.
