Seth is a blue-collar business owner, serial entrepreneur, multi-published author, and speaker who left home at sixteen and never looked back. He helps leaders grow by simplifying business while improving team dynamics.  Seth has been educated through the school of hard knocks and celebrates blue-collar work. He also has an Executive MBA from Villanova University and has been featured on major news networks as a global momentum expert, business coach, and speaker.

Andrew Levy, Esq | McNees, Wallace & Nurick, LLC  
Andrew is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Group.  He is an experienced counselor, litigator, and negotiator committed to providing outstanding client service. He represents many construction contractors with respect to labor and employment issues facing the industry, including compliance with prevailing wage laws and multi-employer defined benefit pension plan issues, including withdrawal liability.  He has experience representing clients in Department of Labor investigations and OSHA proceedings.

 

Gale McLean, SHRM-CP, PHR | Contractor Benefits Group
Gale McLean founded Contractor Benefits Group, LLC, after she had unsuccessfully searched for a quality fringe benefit plan. Gale has 25 years of experience in the construction industry and is a certified human resource professional. She is responsible for The Contractors Advantage Plan’s overall strategy and plan design. Her duties include sales and marketing and servicing existing clients. She is a frequent speaker on the subject of prevailing wage compliance. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with the many plan participants and helping them access their benefits.

 

Mike Mullen

Mike Mullen | Beneco
Mike is the local contact for ABC Keystone members. He has four years of experience in Retirement Services across multiple industries. Mike has Series 6 and 63 Certifications and is passionate about finding solutions to simplify complicated processes for clients while saving them money. Some of Mike’s interests beyond work are sports, music, and spending time with his fiancée and two dogs.

 




Nathanial Peniston | Vice President, The Contractors Plan
Nat is a national expert on government-funded prevailing wage obligations and works closely with construction contractors to ensure proper compliance, particularly in bona fide employee benefits strategies. An accomplished author, he has published numerous articles in the Associated Builders and Contractors Construction Executive magazine and published the book, “The Contractor’s Guide to the Davis-Bacon Act: Essential Knowledge for Bidding and Compliance on Prevailing Wage Jobs.”

 

 

Tom Santa Barbara, AIF, CPFA | Direct Advisors
Tom started his career over 40 years ago in the insurance and employee benefits business that took him from Boston to California and back home to the Albany, NY, area. In 1999, Tom purchased a third-party administration business that provided bona fide benefit plans to merit-shop construction companies subject to prevailing wage regulations. He turned that business into Direct Advisors, LLC. He currently serves as the company’s lead business development point of contact and retirement advisor. Tom is licensed in life, health, property, and casualty and has his Series 65 license. In addition to his daily duties with the company, Tom is an active member of the Empire State Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), currently serving as board chairman.
