Seminar Overview:

We certainly can’t avoid conflict today, but the more we understand it, the better we might manage it. Some conflicts managed well can help an organization grow. Most conflict is more likely to tear down. By having a model to navigate conflict, we can use more energy to create the best-fit solutions. In this event, we focus on:

  • Root Causes of Conflict – if we don’t understand the root cause, we’re probably working on the wrong end of the problem.
  • We’ll map out our Five Steps of Conflict Resolution.
  • Understand what Ego state we must be in and our “default” state.
  • Map out the players in conflict and stay out of the “game.”

When you participate in this program, you’ll take a very brief online survey and capture your scores. At the program, we will explain what those scores mean and how you might adapt in dealing with conflict. As we explore the Conflict Management concepts, you’ll leave with the following:

  • 10 Keys to Conflict Resolution
  • Understanding Power Plays and Games
  • How your “defaults” can help resolve conflict or fire it up
  • A Conflict Resolution Matrix

Registration Details:

Preferred registration date: 7 days prior to the session date

Cancellation deadline is 7 days prior to the class date or once the assessment is completed, whichever comes first. No refunds will be given after the deadline. Substitutions are permitted. There will be a fee if additional assessments are needed upon substitution.

ABC Members may select the option to be invoiced. Non-members will need to pay at the time of registration either via credit card payment online or by calling the Chapter office: (717) 653-8106.
