What role do you play in your organization?
I work as a Client Service Agent at E.K. McConkey & Co., Inc. in our Surety department. I assist my construction clients with their bonding needs from prequalification letters to consents of surety to license and permit bonds.

By reviewing each request, I can also provide more accurate pricing to include with their bid estimate. I enjoy educating my clients so they can better understand how surety fits into their processes and why. Behind the scenes, I ensure that our department has what it needs readily available to handle any requests that we receive.

As a Young Professional, how has your involvement with ABC Keystone helped you?
ABC Keystone’s Young Professionals Committee offers the opportunity to understand the construction industry from all perspectives. The knowledge that I gain enables me to be a stronger asset to my clients and to my team members as well.

What was the best concert you have ever attended?
My favorite concert was Twenty One Pilots. I’ve attended eight of their concerts in the past nine years.

Where is your favorite place in the world?
I love Pittsburgh, and I grew up about an hour and a half outside the city. I usually go for a week around the Fourth of July to visit my best friend. It’s a tradition to attend the Riverhounds game on the 4th. If you have the opportunity to attend a game, I highly recommend it. Highmark Stadium has some of the best views of the city. I’m also a passionate Pittsburgh Penguins fan. There’s just something so welcoming about Pittsburgh.
