Seminar Overview:

Texting or talking?? They are not the same!

Technology has certainly changed how we communicate. We know who is calling and decide if we’ll answer. We expect instant returns of texts and e-mails. So, maybe our devices connect, but we don’t. This session will dive into the basics of human-to-human connecting and communicating.

Benefits of Attending:

  • Facilitate better working relationships
  • Have better customer service
  • Understanding and being understood
  • Picking up on non-verbal cues and feeling more comfortable in one-on-one interactions

Topics Covered:

  • Are we mindful of our communication with another person?
  • Are we reluctant to pick up the phone?
  • Do we know how to use the video platforms to our advantage?
  • We’ll discuss asking the right questions to understand.
  • Listening to understand.
  • Reading the non-verbal language
