Seminar Overview:

This course – part 2 of 2 – includes the pricing phase, the bid process, cash flow and program cost estimating. The earlier phases in the estimating process are covered in part 1.

This course introduces the types of cost estimation from the conceptual design phase through the closeout process of a construction project. In addition, the course highlights the importance of controlling costs and how to monitor project cash flow using interactive, hands-on activities.

Instructor:

Sullivan Tim 2017Tim Sullivan, recently retired, has been a part of the construction industry since 1979. Tim brings his 42 years of diverse project experience with him in Estimating and Project Management from Wohlsen Construction Company, Reynolds Construction and eciConstruction. He is a graduate of Penn State’s Architectural Engineering Program with a degree in Construction Management.

Textbook not included (same as used for Estimating I) = $125
(textbook is Fundamentals of Construction Estimating, 4th Edition by David Pratt)

Cancellations received less than 10 days before the start of class cannot be refunded. Substitutions are permitted.
